So my ghetto random asian brand air pump is breaking down.. and I decided to buy a much better one. something that can power 4 stones that I can spread out throughout my 6' 125gallon tank.
Do you guys think that this:
4 outlets (15LPM) air pump
http://www.hydrofarm.com/product.php?itemid=8661
is sufficient enough to power 4 of these:
4'' diameter round air stone
http://www.hydrofarm.com/product.php?itemid=8257#tabs-1
or if that isn't strong enough, would this:
8 outlets (25LPM) air pump (I would use 4 T valves)
http://www.hydrofarm.com/product.php?itemid=7639
be enough? I don't quite understand the units for air pumps.. and their tech service hasn't been any help.
and if you guys think all of this is a bad idea and have any suggestions for me (i like the 4 disks idea though) then let me know!
