I'm new to owning angelfish and I have a question. So I have a 55 gal tank with 5 angelfish. 3 of them are very small with bodies as big as a quarter, one that's like 2 inches body size not counting fins and a large one about 3-4 inches body size. They are housed with 3 green Cory catfish, 1 Khalid loach, miscellaneous amount of ghost shrimp. And ...... Plz no hate it's only temporary a juvenile arowana. The reason the arowana is in there is because I recently rescued it, you can check my other thread about the aro. It's young and has not attacked or eaten any of the angels. For some reason the aro is more comfortable with the Angels then by itself. It's very shy and skittish. Anyways it's only temporary he's been with them for 3 months with no incidents. One of the Medium sized Angels likes to nip it's scales for some reason but no real harm. The real question is occasionally I will look and see that the largest and angel and the second largest Angels dorsal fin will be ripped sometimes severely and some of the smaller Angels have nips on their caudal fins. I assume it's because the Angels occasionally chase each other and rough house and the fins heal in a couple of days but I would like a definite reason as to why this occurs. I will provide pictures but they are sorta blurry and I 100% positive the arowana is not responsible for these injuries. I would provide a pic but since I uploaded this on my phone for some reasons vids don't work so if u would like a vid I will put one up later but first I will show u some of the angels. also one of the Angels has lost a pelvic fin and it does not seem to be growing back will it ever grow back when I bought it the fin was already gone the other one has grown longer. You will have to carefully look since most of them tend to blend in

That's fairly severe fin damage on the arowana, surprising it was inflicted by the angels IME. I hate to say it but your aro will(if hasn't already) attempt to feed on the angels, I would consider separating asap.
