Question about Asian Arowanas?

YES I KNOW ASIAN AROWANAS ARE ILLEGAL IN CALIFORNIA

I was just wondering are Asian Arowanas illegal to export from Asia? Because I saw that someone was selling one in Canada and it was legal there. and Don't worry mods im not interested in importing an Asian Arowana to canada and then driving 23 hours (1 way) to pick it up I just was asking a wondering.

they are legal in pretty much every country except the united states (i know because i have 4 ) and they are "legal" in the states you just need about $25000 worth of paper work to get past your cites laws

To answer the question it is legal to export from Asia, from a CITES cert farm, and the fish must be a least 2nd gen farm bred.

They are also illegal in Australia as long with USA. They are legal to have in Canada.

Do you really know what you're talking about, or is this just some rumor you heard about?

Kindly give me an example of one person you know who has completed this paperwork in the USA.
