How can you tell a baby royal from a normal? My lfs has baby royal clown knives but I know baby normals also have stripes. I just want to make sure that I'm getting an actual royal and not getting jipped.

Is it lateral or vertical? I can't remember. I'm having a brain fart. Vertical lines I think.

Depends on what you consider a Juvie. I tend to think that a juvie is around 4"-10" And at that size, it should be easy to determine RCKs from CKs. As for babies (under 4")...it can be a bit tricky, but RCKs and CKs are basically opposites as babies. CKs will have a stripe pattern (thick, but faint stripes unlike a normal juvie/adult RCK patterns where they are thin and irregular) Baby RCKs have a lot of little spots (not like CKs, but more like a Cheetah)
