Question about BGJD/BGJD fry.

I know the % is 25% EBJD, 25% reg, 50% BGJD but how soon can you tell the EBJD from the others?

They are different from the first moment they hatch...

The more familiar you become with recognising the differences the sooner you will be able to tell...

'First time breeders' usually take about 6 weeks to recognise the blue ones... esperienced breeders can usually tell in about 2 weeks...

Personally At about 1 week I start removing the larger/faster growing ones as soon as they develop the brown spots...

I think I may have it. I have 485 babies and they only have been free swimming for 9 days now so I was just rushing things.

just make sure to seperate them soon or they'll get killed by their siblings soon
