Question about buying a Blue Phantom

I finally found a LFS willing to include a few Blue Phantoms in there next order, is $100.00 to much? I paid $80.00 for my last one but it was only about 1 1/2" the ones on order should be around 4". I can add, I just don't know how much they typically cost. any help?

idk the denver market but on long island a four inch one would be about 60 bucks

Run about $30.00 for tiny ones, $45.00 for sub-adults, but the fish flow richly here.

Wow, glad I asked. Keep in mind these prices are from two different stores, and my first one was shipped from a breeder in brazil. I'll check out aquabid. Do they have any guarantee on getting the fish you pay for? I have also been looking at royal plecos, they seem to be more common here and go for around $50.00 for 4". I think every Mom and pop place around here has at least one, not sure what variety they are though. what do you guys think about that?

Ive seen BP for around 80 at 4 inches on LI. I guess it depends where they get their fish from.

Wow, thats expensive. I could have gotten one at 6" for about 50 bucks. I got my last one at 5" for 32. I got my Green phantom about 7" for 54 bucks yesterday. I agree, check aquabid. Snookin21(john) is very reputable. Good luck!
