Ok - I had a problem before with needing a divider, and I said I could not find that eggcrate stuff anywhere. A UK shop now stocks it, but I need to know something.

On a standard 2x2 eggcrate - how big are the holes? A cm squared? I need to know how big they are to see if some fish could fit through :D

Thanks,
JR

About 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch and you can buy that eggcrate many large hardware stores. It is used as a light diffuser your tube lights. BTW I had that problem with my Juvi Nandopsis Hatiensis this now have a 55 gallon to themselves instead of sharing the 130 gallon with my Devil, and Oscar.

Thanks, it's weird I thought it would be easily available here too. There is a huge chain hardware store here called B&Q, but they don't have any. Maybe it's just less popular here, they probably use different types of lighting diffuser.

Unfortunately those holes are too big, my little tigerfish would slip right through that.

yeahhh, my little oblongus would slip through sooooooo much that i dont bother putting them on the other side anymore. Egg crate is nice because it allows for the water to flow through easily from one side to another and it doesnt look that bad either.

 for eggcrate :)
