cant fish get tapeworm and other parasties from feeding contaminated beefheart???

i think i heard that somewhere in a TFH magazine in jack wattleys discus Q & A

id like to try it, but im considering the risks

cant be too careful with my lady :D

They are less likely to get parasites from beef heart than from feeders, here in the USA heart that is sold for human consumption is inspected, Heart worms are a pretty obvious infestation. Tapeworms infest the guts, not the heart.

That looks nasty

Yeah that would be pretty obvious. I haven't had any problems with beefheart. Like guppy said, if its for human consumption it has to be inspected.
