Question about fountain pump

hi guys, im new here and new to fountain pumps,i was wondering if a fountain pump could pick up all the crap that fish kick up and poop out. i am looking at getting a via va-306.

Welcome to mfk............ im not understanding what your trying to do... use a a return pump or put in the tank and blast to wet dry???

Fountain pumps usually only have around 5 feet of head. Look for a pump curve, a max head, and a max gph rating to see if it will work for your system

ill be putting it in the tank to pump to wet dry

use gravity... no need to blast to pump....

then from the wet dry to the tank

on that side, what power is the pump... you will want a fair amount of turn over on the water. If the pump is not powerful enough it may not lift the water high enough to the tank fast enough to filter the water...

look for a mag drive or quiet one pump..... they are more suitable for what you want.....
