land of the lost...
I'm about to buy a Flower Horn and the seller told me that he had only Golden ones. I wanted a very colorful one, and he says that golden ones get very colorful as they grow, is this true? Also I asked for the bonsai type and he also said "I most have some of those here because It was the same fry and there are ones that are shorter than others" Some light in to this would be very appreciated.

I hope u can see the images of the fish seller offered me.

I believe that these are what most call faders(I THINK) so correct me if im wrong

In there juvenile age their colors fade from a blackish tint to there final colors which it that ones case would be a nice yellow. these a flowerhorns but they don't really have any pearls or markings like zz or king kamfas etc.I could e wrong though how big are these that he is offering?

BTW im talking about the one in the second picture

Regards,
-Carlos

Red ZZ fader. No such thing as golden it is just a marketing term. And no it is not a bonsai either if he told you that is a bonsai. Just because they are shorter than the other doesn't make them bonsai at all. :D

Thanks guys, I think I'll better wait for what I want. I tried on line auctions, but, haven't found any seller that ships to PR.. BTW, I was told size was 4 inches each, and those were the only two available. Wish I could get a Kirrin or Killin Parrot also, they are adorable. In the meantime my 75 gl is EMPTY...awwww
