My tank is in the 90s with summer hitting in the water is very hot how do i cool. I have no heater in there and its still very very hot any ideas

Put some type of cover over it. I had that problem with my tank before. I actually threw ice cubes in there at one point.

If it gets too hot it could be harmful to some of your fish.........what are you keeping?

Sounds like the tank is in direct sunlight for most of the day for it to get that hot without a heater, I'd consider moving the tank.........

Heres some options
buy a professional chiller
make a chiller using a mini fridge or cooler
keep the lights off or raise them a few inches
have a fan blow across the water
do several small water changes with cooler water
float plastic jugs of ice in the tank
add a room air conditioner-Anne

yeah im throwing in ice cube right now. i put baby dats in there and they are hot god darn it :irked:

i think im gonna lose the lights and try and see how cool it is
