Question about HITH

If another fish eats a fish with HITH, can it get HITH or sick, too?

This much is not yet known about the disease. Nobody can assert a yes or no. I can think of good arguments for and against, but unless somebody out there has been working really, really hard to completely analyze and cure this horrific malady, we don't know yet. For the record, I would not feed an afflicted fish to a healthy fish. But that's just me.
