I just noticed lastnight that my 2 8" Azuls have ich. The temp of the tank is at 85 and it is a bare bottom tank with only an airstone. Today i went to my LFS and bought Quick Cure. My question is are pbass considered tetra or marine fish so i put in the right dose and is there anything else i can do to help cure them faster before it is to late? Thanks for any advice!

Use salt instead of chemicals and do daily waterchanges. Bump the temp up to 87.

+ 1 ^^^Those are some mighty expensive fish to be expermenting on meds. Also i was never a big fan of uv sterilizers until i actually tried one HUHU.The darn things work!!!ajust one more safety precaution ya know!!

More info on the salt method please. Also they are in a 75.
about 1 table spoon per 5 gals. if you did not have any before .Remember salt does not go away with evaperation. So take that into acount! So about if you have about 65 gals of water in there 13 tbls of salt. Also a main factor for me is water changes !!Keeping the water clean and keeping the temps high has more to do with getting rid of ick than anything.Ick parisites don't like high temps and speeds up the life cycle greatley that in combination with regular water changes i think is the bigger factor!!

are you talkin bout peacock bass and if so they aint expensive at all just buy a fishing pole people eat em all the time

please don't say stuff like that without knowing the facts, pbass are not all inexpensive. and just because you can replace something doesn't mean you should.

Ur an idiot. If you don't have any info to help me then keep your mouth shut. And as for them not being expensive you obviously know nothing about these fish.
