Alright.... I just got myself a 5" jade goby. The question I wanted to ask is what does Jade Goby eat? I been told that they eat small fish. I gave him bunch of feeder but he is not eating them at all. So I gave him some flake and no luck. I also gave him some brines shimps too and I still havent seen him eating. Any idea?

When I got it at the pet shop.. he was in a tank full of little goldfish and said he been eating those. Well... I havent seen him eating the feeder I got for him but yet... he been swimming around alot.

he may be stressed from the move to your aquarium, some fish will go off food when stressed

I was thought about that. but then... I had him for the last three weeks. First I put him in with bunch of other fishes until I start noticing some of the fishes is missing. So I put him in a 75g tank for himself.

I bought a jade gobie about 5 months ago. At the time he was about 6 inches long, now hes about 13 inches. hes become one of my favorite fish. Eats out of my hand and gets along with everyone else in the tank. He eats krill and blood worms and if theres feeder fish left over after the peacock bass is full he will go after them but he doesn't go after any of the other fish in the tank.

My Jade Goby is about 10" long and has eaten some very large tankmates.

maybe he got parasites from the gold fish at the pet store , gold fish are not healthy for fish to eat .... also try a earthworm that might work...
