i'm bringing home a foot long jardini soon. are they sensitive towards water parameters? or do they need to be in perfect water parameters. my nitrate levels are kinda high and GH levels. cause i knew that my 2 silvers and pacu aren't sensitive.

Yes. Do yourself a favor and do a major water change 2 days before bringing him home. At a foot long his aggressive streak will be showing soon so keep an eye on him as he turns alpha.

its been 4 days since water change and the nitrate is SLOWLY going down, bringing the jardini home tomorrow =D

awesome, man. good luck with it. where did you find it?

Your best bet is to do a 30% waterchange either today or tommorrow and then another 30% in a couple of days then another 3 days later should bring your nitrate down. Works well with me.

i just got him today...i should do a water change already? shouldn't i wait for him to adjust...i still needa get rid of my pacu!!

Got pics of the pacu and Jardini?
