I recently purchased a http://www.seriouslyfish.com/profile.php?genus=Synodontis&species=notata&id=286
and a http://www.seriouslyfish.com/profile.php?id=219
THey were put in with my Jardini which is only 4-5 inches so hes not going to kill them. The one spot is about 8-9 inches and the other is about 4-5 inches. both very active in my 210 gallon. The thing is i keep the fish tank up at 84-85 degrees which is probably a little to hot for them. What would be the pros/cons of keeping them up at this heat? or cons if there is no pros.
From what i have observed they seem fairly happy the one spot is swimming all over the place and same with the pictus.
Cheers
Jordan
No need to point out the jardini with kill them in the future well aware of this

They will grow faster and produce more waste. One idea is that warmer temps shorten the lifespan.

Why keep it so high? Why not bump it down to 82F?

heard the jardini is more cofortable in warmer water.

He will probably turn on them eventually.

Did they specify he needs it that warm?

jessica what are u doing in your picture lol
and i have two sponge filters and might set up an air stone for more aeration

haha awesome^
