i was wondering if it's possible to keep a couple in the same tank or will it be too aggressive to keep with more than one? i'm looking to get a few when i come across some. thanks!

it depends on the individual personality of the fish... oh and the level of deformity of their mouth parts.

its very possible.

thanks guys, i happened to pick up 2 flowerhorn parrots and a carpintis parrot today at the LFS. the biggest flowerhorn parrot seems to chase the other fishes around though. i'm hoping he settles down or i will have to find him a new home.

a little chasing here and there is fine there need to be some dominate fish in the tank for it too work.

u hav to wait a few days ...my kirin chased the other fish around for a couple weeks ..which included blood parrots and an oscar ..but now it has established its own territory..but he still has his fights with the 2 parrots..dont forget that they hav the flowerhorn temperament and r bound to be territorial.
