question about light for plants

Not really a monster tank I bought a 9 gallon eheim tank for my office.

I am thinking of doing a planted shrimp/snail + maybe 6-10 neon tetra tank.

My question is if the LED on that tank is good enough for plants or not. My office is near a window so if I chose I can also let sun shine in for a few hours.

Definitely. 6000K and 1200 lumens for a tank that small is just fine for most plant growth.

I did the same thing with a fluval chi and had no problems with anubis and Java moss.
