Question about lionfish ?

hi guys.i am thinking about getting a lionfish (volitans).but can they be kept in treated tap water.i dont have an ro unit.i have heard that they dont do so well in dechlorinated tap water.i have been keeping a naso tang and a blueline grouper for about 1 1/2 yrs with no problems.please advise
