question about male jag

my " male " jag and my female are dancing around like theyre about to mate. my females egg tube hasnt come out yet buy my "male" has a tube sticking out. it doesnt look the same as my female though. do males have a tube for fertalizing? what is this. he wont let me take a pic.
 
yeah, i believe they both have tubes for spawning. And since they are used for different .... stuff... they look a little different.
 
i see. thanks for the replys. this is my first time having fish breed so i dont know what the hell to look for. does the male do most of the cleaning? cuz i see the female out on her own quite a bit.
 
The male will clean the area as well. Her tobe will actually look like a short tube...his will look a little pointy. Good luck.
 
once hers does come out it will be pretty big and rounded and his pointed.
 
ok. sorry for all the questions im still a little confused. his tube is sticking way out. its wide and comes to a point. when hers comes out, its looks just like a short cylinder. could he just be ready before her? he cleans the inside of the cave and rubs up against it as if there were eggs theres. does this sound normal?
 
its suppose to look like a cylinder. there going to breed just give them time.
