Ok I just got a quick question......I just got a new motoro this weekend, wild caught from peru, about 6" disc...........It's hard to describe what i'm askin but i'll try........ok I know what a skinny ray looks like, how the ribs and "hips" are exsposed.......mines not like that but if you look closely you can see the tops of his "hips" ....he's eating fine, black and blood worms,.........is this something to be worried about or no??

I'm just paranoied cuz this is my first ray and i like it a whole lot........

Thanks for the reply........that's what i figured I was just making sure though.......It's not even like you can see the "hips" more just like you can make out where they are.........

Here's something you can relate to. This is a pic of my first ray.

Day 1 (estimated) and not stocky, but certainly not skinny.

Fast forward a few weeks and you've got a happy, fat, and eager to eat monster on your hands!

On another note, you won't see spectacular growth feeding bloodworms and blackworms. Its when you get the ray to accept shrimp, earthworms, squid and cut fish that you see girth.
