Question about my dolphin

Ive had this dolphin about a month now as was wondering what the ph is sapose to be i have it right around 7.0 hes doing real well just wonder an if any one knows what kind i think its mormyrus kannume but not sure.

I think morymoids prefer slightly acidic water 6.5-6.8 but they do rather poorly in water with a high KH. they are similar to discus in water parameters
 
Its in a 55 right now hes about 5 inches ill get a bigger tank when he grows ive herd they get up to 40 inches. Hes with 6 convicts , channel cat , some type of tilapia an 3 crab . The crabs claws are to small to hurt any one an the tilapia is some type i dont know what kind though. The dolphin dsnt seem to bother them hel chase them for a second seems like he loses interest.
 
I don't think keeping cichlids with him is a very good Idea, morymoids are pretty shy and not very in general. Might work though since this is based on elephant nose fish. keep an eye on the convicts for agression towards the dolphin
 
Yes, its a Kannume. Very nice! Not many people keep these type of fish.
