I have two larger frontosas in my 265, ones about 8" ones about 6".

I would like to now move the 9 I have in the 55 that are anywhere from 1.5" to 3.5" into the bigger tank.

When I do this will the bigger one try to eat or kill any of them? I don't think he will but I rather have a third opinion rather then lose my juvie fronts.

I would just move the 4 of the biggest ones in to the 265. and let the other five grow up a little.

If they are no at least two inches I would not risk it. I have add smaller ones to my group without problems, but if too small, (can fit in the mouth of the larger one) they may be a snack

Thanks for the answers guys, guess they stay in the 55 for now... The only ones that are over 3" are the dominant and co-dominant males and females.

Don't move the small ones in the tank just yet wait til they get little bigger!

just move the bigger ones now, maybe some sort of divider can be used to house the others to give them some time in the tank but not be exposed to being eaten

Well I would say I agree. I had 1.5-2.5 inch fronts in a 55 and then 5-8 inch ones in the big tank. I took out the bigger ones in the big tank and gave them up to keep the smaller ones and grow them out in the big tank. I didnt want to risk mixing them. My fronts dont seem like they would eat them but you never know, its not worth the risk.
