wassup mfk'ers, my jars getting pretty big now (about 6-7in.) and i have him in a 55gl growing out im planning on putting him in my 150gl with my gar, dat, bichir, and silver aro but im kinda worried cause ive heard jars are pretty nasty the smallest fish in my 150gl is the dat 6-7in. but hes no punk he used to beat the crap out a pike cichlid till i was forced to give it up can you all give me help?? should i wait till the jar gets a lil bigger or throw him in at this size im kinda nervous cause you cant find jars here at all- please help

Never done it, sorry.

i have an idea :D

what you can do it move the dat to the 55 and move the arow to the 150,

then when the arow get big enough (15-24 inches) you can move the dat back to the 150. The arow should be big enough to defend itself OR! be too big for the dat to have enough balls to mess with it :grinyes:

I have my 12" jar in 125gal along with 5 ( 6" ) senegalus bichirs , 2 ( 6" & 14" )spiny eels, and 1 (6") tire track eel. They're all get along pretty well. I woudn't put Jar & Silver Aro in the same tank.

yeah thats another thing i was worrying about if they would fight for the top-water, but what do you think about my gar and jar would there be a problem

Don't know about Jar and Gar. I know Silver and Gar wouldn't be any problem. I have 2 (22") Silvers housed with 2 (14") longnosed gars and 1 (12") florida spotted gar and 1 (16") clown knife . THey're all do well. THey're in 300 gal .
