Hey

I bought a 40gallon breeder tank several years ago for a bearded dragon. I remember there being something on the tank saying it could not be used to hold water. It looks just like any other aquarium. Anyone know the difference, and why it should not be used to hold water? Is there anything that I can do to it so it can hold water?

Thanks

It could be the thickness of the glass being unable to handle the pressure of the water. Also could be the type of silicone seal, I wouldnt risk it considering water weighs 8lbs. per gallon....that's alot of outward pressure.
