I have 3 clown loaches that are about 4" long each. What's a good size of NLS pellet to use for them? Are 3mm pellets OK?

Personally I would feed either 1 or 2mm as nls is very dense and is formulated to be swallowed with little or no chewing. My 14" umbee will eat 1mm so it certainly isn't too small for a 4" loach.

Im a big fan of the thera a for CLs always fed it at work and to mine at home and they not only love it but it seems to keep them nice and chunky ( growth was also very consistant and good)

I would use 1mm.

1mm or 2mm, the 3mm pellets will cause a lot of excessive chewing & waste for a 4" CL.

Loaches below were raised on 1mm - the largest in that pic is a chunky 6+ inches.

Currently I have a tank with 4 inchers (raised from tiny babies) that I have been feeding NLS 1mm Thera-A pellets. I recently got some 2mm Thera-A though because I think they could handle them well about now. Just gotta wait to run out of the 1mm first before I open it.
