Question about Ornatipinis

Hello, I have a question about P. ornatipinis : if i buy a baby ornatipinis it will eat my P. senegalus or my ropefish when he will be an adult ?
I know it may sound stupid but i really don't know and it's better i ask people with more experience.thanks

not likely, might nip at them them when older. Raising all together will help that though.

i actually was thinking the same thing when i got my ornate. i let them both go into the tank together. i had me sen in a 20 gallon and my ornate in the bag. i put them in at the same time. Nothing really happened for me. But when i got my buettikoferi both of them would fake bit. kinda like making sure it is food. and when they realized it wasn't they would swim away. they did this for about a day. and from then to today my buettikoferi can climb all over my sen and ornate with no problem. it's almost like they are dogs and learned the smell of the other poly's but to me i haven't had any problems like that. As long as they are in both in each others size range they'll be fine. the first couple days i would keep close watch just to be safe. But i don't think there will be any problems.
