Question about OTTOS

Just wondering if the ottos eat green hair algae and will they eat baby shrimp? Thanks

i know they eat algae but not sure what types, and i dont think they would eat baby shrimp i think they are pretty much vegetarians

I'm not sure about green hair algae, but boy are they the best with reguler algae. I have them in evey tank that I can have them in and I never have to scrub the glass. Love those little guys!!!!!!!!

those are the only kind of fish that will die in my tank.every other one i have has survived since day one.ive went thru 4 ottos and only one remains
