question about ph up/down

We just got a big box of pool supplies from the lady that gave us the pool. Well in that box is several large containers of ph up and ph down. Would that be aquarium safe also?

don't know. I assume so, but it can be dangerous to assume. call the manufacturer.

Well for the ph up is says for ingredients
100% sodium carbonate

For ph down it says
93.2% sodium bisulfate
6.8% inert ingredients


Not that i need to mess with the ph in my tanks but it was just a thought that crossed my mind while looking through what was in the box.

Those should be safe. The pH up is for sure, it's basically baking soda.

I prefer to raise and lower pH naturally though.

Actually, I prefer to keep the pH at a consistent level!

baking soda is sodium bicarbonate.

I know, there's an extra carbon molecule. It just changes the way it forms bonds. It's not going to do anything crazy.
