Question about photo

How do you take so good photos. Mine get crapy everytime. I even bought a new camera.
But still my pictures are crapy. Some good pointers please.
My camera is an Olympus E-300.

im no expert but taking pictures of fish is a pain due to low light wich makes pictures real blury alot of the time and i would also use manual focus when posible so you can focus on what you want to.
