question about pump on my 960gallon

i have a pump that puts out somewhere around 6000gph, here lately its gotten a high pitched sqeeling noise to it, im wondeirng if there is a way to lube it or not, its an electric drive pump maybe 2 years old at most

also every now and then the pump will stop sucking in water and ill have to put a water pump with a hose to it top get it flowing again, is this just a sign to buy a new one in the near future? i was thinking maybe lube it first and see what happens before paying 5-600$ for a new one

any suggestions?

Sounds like the bearings are going out and you would have to contact the pump manufacturer for info like that.

I'd have another one on order if I were you. Put the new one in, then get the old one redone.

When was the last time you took it apart and cleaned it?
