question about RD

hi, can a red devil be kept in a community tank. with severums,green terror,texas. though the list is very fatal. just to add one more to the list or NO more.
Also please tell me
how often to change the water of a 100g tank like a 4.5ftx1.5x2 tank.
currently i change the water on 15 days.
should i do it often.

Once the RD gets bigger, it probably shouldn't be kept in a community tank unless it is a BIG one. Some RDs are docile though, you never know. How much of a water change do you do every 15 days?

As always it depends on the fish. I would advise a bigger tank for a community though. Also doubtful on the Severum as they are quite docile in comparison to your other fish.

well approximately i change 30% of the water in 15 days.

I would definatley start with a juvie. In my experience fish will be more tolerant to their tankmates if they grew up with them. It really depends on each fish's personality. Severums are not always docile. My severums kick the crap out of my festae twice their size. (Suprised me to)

IME red devils don't do well in community setups. As for waterchanges you should be doing your waterchange every week.

man its a 100g tank and weekly changes will ruin a lot of water.
though how much changes u meant by that in %age.
