i transfer my RTGG in his new home but it got scratched in the process of transfering into the new tank...some scales came off ,now my question is ..will it heal pretty good and will the scales come back??? he's about 17 inches right now...

It's all good bro, it will heal up fine. If you want to ease your anxieties, you can go to your lfs and buy some meds that will help in the healing process. Other than that your fish will heal up with time. Now if the scratch was deep enough to the flesh watch out for infection. Do lots of water changes and medicate accordingly.
