Question about sealant for wet/dry

I am turning my 75 gallon tank into a wet/dry. I am using 1/2" thick pieces of acrylic for dividers. Will the normal aquarium sealant hold those pieces to the glass sides good? And what about acrylic to acrylic glue, adhesive or sealant?

Best bet is probably silicone. As you are not trying to seal the dividers, just hold them in place the silicone will do the job sufficiently.

yup, just use GE I to as silicone. not sure about acrylic though
