Hi,

Do you guys recommend those stacked/double stands for smaller tanks? The ones I see are for like a 10 gallon and a 20 gallon or perhaps a 29 and 20 long or something. They look like this:

rGEw78hOEw1fGSiuhqNTBIGrSq75uGyOq9hfgcOLv7P9vtTUkfWD6VvDVqzrzsrz9jTLRfV3ko8XvB6J_htC8k9rMHD8-0t6y2c5yaPBiGL1rKDmeY5CDaCywSTZ1bf5YsAXGWZs-yATBYJrwFAILHH0

Do you recommend these?

I wouldn't say I "recommend" them...

But I've used a couple over the years and they worked fine... I've seen many others use them as well and they generally work fine...

The one you pictured will not stand up well to moisture, so be careful not to splash to much on it...

i had one supporting 2 10s a while ago, now i use it as an end table to hold crap lol. i got it from petsmart for $10, thought, why not

12 volt man has two 65 stacked, i dont see why you cant with smaller tank, just make sure the stand is made for fish tanks, dont use like book shelfs etc.

yes, if the stand was designed to hold two tanks, then its a go.

just make sure the bottom shelf is not designed just for storing food, nets etc.

make sure its just as beefy as the top one.

my 65/50g stacked combo is tube steel, which is very strong and was designed to hold two tanks.

problem is, not all stands with a bottom shelf were meant this way.

hope this helps.
