Question about Sturgeon

Looking for a new cool bottom dweller that you don't really see often. I have noticed a sturgeon a few times and have heard about them. never actually seen one in person. now are there many different species/sizes/etc? does anyone have one themselves that can post some pics? how big do they grow and would they get along with a pleco and a RTC? thank you

I know the are very hard to keep, and they like colder water. I wouldn't get one.

how big of tank do you have?

It will be in a 300 gallon. with the following fish:
1x jardini
2x red bellied pacu
1x alligator gar
1x pleco
1x RTC
1x Oscar
(possible Peacock bass or tiger Datnoid. haven't decided yet)

tank is not big enough they need more on the lines of a 1000+ gallon because they get way over 3'

A 300 won't be big enough for an rtc, a gator gar or a sturgeon. All these fish require massive ponds.

Once they get to big for my tank i have a place they can go that i will get to see them anytime i want and know they will be taken care of properly
