question about Styrofoam

i wnat to put some Styrofoam in my tank. but now i have quesstion. if i put it in my aquarium, what will be happen. is it bad for water and fishes?

Depending on the type of "Styrofoam" and if it F/W or S/W it shouldn't start to breakdown for the first 50 yrs or so.
