i just bought a 410g, and it has a total of 6 holes in the botom (two bigger about 3'' and four small about 1''). now i know how a fitted sump works with no holes but no idea as to how this will work if the power goes out; and how im going to return that much water? i got enough plexi to cover the holes but i would like to be abile to use the tank like its intended.

please some one help with this iv been lookin all over for what all im going to need
sorry to bump but i need help

ok that was a lil vauge i was thinking about plumbing it out the bottom with some thing covering the holes like a ugf and plumbing a pipe that runs underneath and then out the back up to water level and then back down to the sump. but im not sure that would break the syphon in case of a power outage

whats the advaantage to sumps of fresh water
