I have one blueline grouper and one naso tang, could i add a clown trigger to
my tank and would they get along.

i never had any problems with my naso tang and grouper. My question is would
they be peaceful to each other and not fight.

Well first off how big is your tank?

+1

I will say that no matter how big your tank is you may run into problems long term with the Clown Trigger. They are one of the meanest fish in the aquarium trade. They will pretty much kill anything they see as a threat to there dominance. I would say go for it as long as you have a pretty large tank(180 or bigger), but just be aware of the potential problems.

I don't know of anybody whose been able to keep a clown trigger with much of anything. It will probably work for a while, but in the end, the clown trigger will get more and more aggressive as it grows and eventually kill its tankmates. I've seen this discussion on other forums many times and couldn't find anybody who has a large clown trigger that didn't do this.

This is random but go and get a green bird wrasse.

Today i put in my diamond goby, and right away my green bird attacked him, bashing him with his head in to the sand. I was like "oh sh**...sh** sh**!!!" Then caught the green bird in the net and placed him in the QT. He's defintly not going back into that tank anymore lmfao.

my tank is 120 gallons, looks like i will not add a clown trigger.beautiful but deadly.
what fish can i add?.I've been keeping the blueline grouper and naso tang for about 2 1/2
years now.please advise thanks in advance.

Naso is going to need a bigger tank in time...something with at minimum a 6 foot run. You obviously can't add anything small cause the grouper will eat it. I would look at another tang or maybe an angel(one that stays smallish). Other options include wrasses(bird, harlequin tusk, thassaloma), rabbitfish, foxface, or a smaller trigger(niger, pinktail, etc.)

WWM says that to keep one for life you should have at least 8 feet... very touchy fish...and apparently this is really something you need to get right, otherwise they perish.
