question about the KOK on a flowerhorn

My question is if the KOK pops will it grow back or does it hang like flab ? Serious question .. My daughter asked what would happen if it popped and i did not know the proper answer so i am trusting i can find it here

Generally, the larger the KOK the healthier. Good water quality and a good food will enhance the size as well as the color. when the quality is not very good the KOK will get smaller. Ive had them for years and watched them grow. Feed well and do water changes his KOK will grow!! Good luck. By the way, the KOK can not pop.
