You got one of the better Moms :D, Mine would have stuck it outside saying it stinks:ROFL:.

What kind of sealant?

It had cured for 30 hrs before the water was added?

If aquarium silicone sealer, drain it and let it finish curing.

Problem is silicone won't stick to old silicone so if you just did spots you still could have leaks.

its aqurium sealent but i didnt put it on thick. and it was cured about 30 hrs. the tank didnt leak befor i just wanted to make sure it didnt so i did the spots

its a 3o gallom tank but it only has about 3 inches of water in it. im gonna drain it should be cured when i get back from work tomorrow. Thanx for the help

It's always better to either reseal the whole tank after removing the old stuff or leave it alone. like the Doc said...silicone wont stick to itself once cured so what you added will simply peal off..

I've picked up a few leakers over the years and most of them have a messy coating of sealent smeared over the old seal...and of course they still leak...hence the good deal....LOL
