question about vision cages.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
you could use a radiant heat panel or drill the sides and install a light fixture.

Those vision cages have screen vents on the back.
You can set the light there.
But, you could just buy a 20 gallon long aquarium for $20 for your leos..

The item description says it can be used with a heat pad which is probably the best heating for leos anyway. They're nocturnal, so they don't like bright lights and the belly heat can aid in digestion

ok thanks. im just going to get a 20 long for my leos.

Sounds good. No shame in keeping leos in glass aquariums. It's just not worth forking out the cash for those cages for something as small and simple to care for as a leo unless you are going for aesthetic appeal IMO.

yea thanks. its alot of money. i just like to see my leos in a nice enviorment. i just think they look better and wouldnt let as much light in. but now that i think of it if i open it the crickets would hop out haha. thanks ill post pics in a few weeks of the new setup.

As long as you have hides they should be unaffected by the light. Looking forward to seeing the setup :).
