So yesterday I woke up and found one of my angelfish stuck to the filter I took him off and he was having trouble swimming so I put him in a breeders box and he just couldn't stay upright, but he looked fine otherwise until he died that night. Now this morning I woke up and one of my phantom tetras is doing the same thing. Swimming but cannot swin upright and straight. The water is fine they are just swimming weird. What is going on.

Thanks

What are your water parameters exactly? The phrase "My water is fine" means nothing to us unless you post some numbers. I really think this is a water quality issue.

Alright fine... ph: between 7.3 and 7.6. Nitrite 0, ammonia 0, and nitrates are impossible to tell because my nitrate test thing for some reason doesnt work, but 3 weeks ago when I had it tested the nitrates were 30. I am going to do a 25% water change just in case, but yesterday I was reading it could be food imp action, which is why I didn't feed my angels this morning (but did yesterday when he died), but my tetras are in a breeding thing because they are relatively new and I fed them this morning, but didn't notice if they were swimming weird before or after feeding. Also there is salt in the water because I am finishing out a treatment for ich.

please anybody help, my two tetras are still alive lying on their sides looking miserable, breathing still, please help

and now I wake up this morning and the two are dead and 4 more are doing the same thing... Please help, what else could it be???

how long has the tank been setup? whats the water temp ? what are you feeding?

its been up for 2 months, and the temp is currently at 85, but I am bringing it back down after the ich treatment, i feed a tropical fish flake but i didn't feed any yesterday, and only fed a bit today soaked in water because i read about food impaction
