I have 2 questions really...one...if I get some wild endli's that are about 10-12"...what are the chances I will be able to get them off live food and onto pellets?

Also the tank I was going to keep them in untill they outgrow it is a 125 and has 5 F1 peru oscars that are about 4" max. They are pigs and are growing...but at this size will they be a late night snack?

As for the pellet question, it shouldn't be too hard, polys are pigs. Smellier the better, at least at first.
Oscars and polys are problematical long term, growth rates are too different. One or the other is likely to take advantage of a size difference at some point. At their current size, the risk is to the oscars, like you suspected. But as the oscars grow at a comparatively much faster rate, if they survive, they may well become opportunists themselves and decide the endlis look good on the menu.

I kinda figured the pellet thing wouldn't be too hard but I have no real experience with polys. I just got a ornate about 5-6" and the lfs said it was only eating live food...but about 3 min after putting it in my tank it was woofing down sinking sticks. So IDK if the lfs was clueless or if it really didnt care what it ate.

As for the oscar eating/killing the endli...at 12" I didnt really forsee that as a problem I was worried about the oscars getting eatten. Would I have to wait till the oscars and the endli's were both bigger?
