Hey everybody, I have a question. Do you think that a delhezi, a senegal, and a weeksii could live together?

And also, for your viewing pleasure, here are some pics of my delhezi and other fish.

First, my delhezi 2 months ago:

And here he is now, a bit bulked up:

Here's my little ropefish:

My bala sharks:

And a full tank shot:

I'm still working on it, getting new plants, and possibly a different substrate.

I know the delhezi and senegal are fine together. Not sure about the weeksii, hope so though, I plan on having one to go with my others.

What size tank do you have?

A weeksii gets up to 20 inches long, so unless you have something like a 75, I wouldn't suggest getting it.

Other than that, in my experiences, most polys get along with each other, so you could get a smaller bichir and it would be fine.

They should be fine together for now. Just make sure you get a bugger tank. Nice fish you have though.

fyi weeksii isn't the fastest grower. juveniles, yes, a decent/fast growth rate can be expected like most juvenile bichirs. But once they get bigger (say >12"), growth is pretty slow. its not likely to ever reach 20" in captivity, but if it does, it'll be many years before that happens.

but because of its big wide head, it can swallow surprisingly large fish (relative to its own size), so watch out.
