Question b4 buying this FH

What do you think of this FH? and Can you please ID and gender it. I found this on craigslist for $200 and the seller is about 4 hours away from me. Do you think this is worth a drive. Also, this guy willing to meet me half way.

Its nice, the only thing I don't like about it is the drop tail. Its a male 100%. I would at least talk him down to $150 if you can.

Pearls and body is very nice..just very weak tail but for fh that size $150 would be a good deal

Most likely a KML.. if you like it then get it. Personally, I don't think its worth to drive that far unless the guy cuts the price of the fish in half.

You'd be better off ordering online and growing one out. You don't know how old it is, it has drop tail and an overbite. I suggest looking at flowerhornsfrombeyond

$200 and a 2-4 hr round trip worth of gas & time ..... I would pass. Even without its faults, as Cam mentioned you have no idea as to the exact age of this fish, and it could very well be on its way out to pasture. Far better off to buy a quality juvie & grow it out yourself.

BTW - I believe that's an underbite, not overbite.

in my opinio, i dont think it worth it even at $150. you can get a way better looking for $150 -$200. you can even get a small 3"-5" quilty fh for $200 like king kamfa.

Where the tail is no longer stiff and drops. Its caused by bad genetics.
