My XP4 motor took a dump on me last week so in the mean time between time I'm using an xp3 motor on the filter. I was wondering if anyone has done this before and is there any danger of damaging the xp3 motor and my xp4 rena filter while I wait?

HONESTLY I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BUT I THINK IT SHOULD BE FINE IT WILL JUST BE LESS GPH WHICH IS MAINLY THE DIFFERENCE BESDIES SPACE IN THE CANISTER.

Thanks ... So far no probably other then my tank not looking as crispy as before but it will have to do until I get the replacement.

toss an extra hob on filled with filter floss or polyester batting. that'll help 'crisp' the tank up. or if you don't have any spare filters laying around, put a layer of poly batting in the top tray of your rena.
