I was wondering how to build one of those spinning return setups over the drip tray. I saw one at a fish store overone of their central filtration systems but couldn't really figure it out by looking at it. It had 3 pvc tubes drilled with small holes but how is it plumbed in and there must be some sort of bearing in there to make it spin. Am I explaining it right?

I've thought about that, but I've never been able to find any info on how to get it done.
I hope someone knows.

I machined mine (center section/bearing/slip joint) from delrin, Unless your a machinist or don't know any better (:D) and have access to a lathe, you might just try looking harder.

They were used on S/W systems, holes were angled to drive it.

Problem was the holes/slip joint clogged and needed attention, and they were more expensive to make than a stationary spraybar.

And honestly I'm not sure they're made anymore.

Rallysman... Hint...Black box engineer it.

I have seen those before. Honestly, I can't see how one of those has an advantage over a regular drip plate. Seems over engineered IMO.
