I was hoping to ask some people on here who breeds/know people who breed angel fish.
I've been researching on the net, as most of my angelfish fry have been raised artifically up until recently.
I was hoping someone could let me know how long they leave the fry in with the parents.(Breeding Pair only tank, no other fish in tank).
The tank is heavily planted and I've covered the intake of the filters with sponge media and there is roughly 100 or so fry?....
The rough idea on the net is around 3 weeks after they become wigglers, as they will want to lay again(My pairs lay every 10 days generally...)Even if the babies eat a batch of eggs, which it says the parents will let them do, I'm okay with that. I just don't want to tire the parents out and reach the phase where they potentially start eating the slime coat off the parents or something to that effect.
I was just hoping for some real time answers, to verify/disagree with my research.
