Does anyone own a Tenny that actually has lids for the overflows? Is there such a thing? They're like a Yeti or a unicorn I swear.... I've NEVER seen any.

If anyone has any or has seen any or has any pics I'd love to see them!

Thanks!

Really? Nobody has Tennecors? :( No fabled lids?

Was hoping for ideas... Got none. Built my own. Work great.

The end..... :)

Is Tenecor still around?

I thought ATM bought them out many years ago.....

I love the old Tenny tanks. We have several here, never had any issues with them like I have with other brands and soooo many "custom" built tanks.

BUT like I said, have NEVER seen any lids for the trapezoidal overflows they typically have. I assume they would just attach some tabs to the cut out pieces of acrylic similar to what they do for the tank lids??? Would guess IF they did they would seal very poorly just like the tank lids do. :(

I don't remember Tenecor ever including overflow lids with any that we set up. When I was able to afford a Tenecor I didn't have the space. Now I have the space but can't afford one.

These are the ones I did for this 600. Think I may have used too thin of acrylic for top layer though.

The ones I did for the 750 are thicker. We'll see if they act like they'll hold up better long term. I did them differently to test which works better. In the past I've been surprised by how much it seems that thicker acrylic will warp over time when it comes to lids for stuff.

Here's one from 750. Overflows are quite a bit bigger on this tank. 1/4" on top, 2 layers of 1/2" under.

Other lids are only 1/8" top layer, 1/2" under. Thought maybe the thinner top layer would seal better, but may be wrong here.... lol
